Design + Product Study Night

This is the FIRST EVER meeting of the Design + Product Study Night!

You don't need to be a product designer or manager, or have any experience in this space to come. Beginners are totally welcome.

Pre-reqs:

• A good attitude

• Willingness to learn

• Willingness to teach others

• Interest in product design or product management.

Agenda:

• Intros and touch base on everybody's skill level

• Quick 5 min intro to product design & management (what do people actually do when they say they're a 'product designer' or 'product manager.')

• Break off and work on our own projects.

• I'm (Shiyuan) available for portfolio and resume reviews

Goals:

• Build a richer community around product thinking and product design in Portland.

• Develop your skills in this space.

• Meet like-minded people doing similar work.

• Build side projects.

• Career development in product and design.

Details:

This goes on every 3rd Tuesday of the month (tentatively).
