What is it like to be the first EPM/TPM in a company?

The Engineering Program Manager role changes from one company to another. It is not always well understood and it is often up to us to decide what it should be, making it both an opportunity and a challenge. When you're the first to join a company, there is no existing framework and no coworkers to help you do so.

During our first TPM meetup, Cécile Ritte, Engineering Program Manager at Pigment (https://www.gopigment.com/), will share her experience as the first EPM in a startup. She will explain what she learnt about scale through trial and error, and how this led her to better understand and adapt her role to the company's context.

The structure of the meet up will be:

• 30 mins of presentations and questions
• 30 mins of open forum - any questions people have unrelated to the presentations can be asked!
