Details
CNC day! CNC means Computer controlled making. So Laser Cutter, 3D printer, and CNC router all count. There will be a Basic FreeCAD tutorial, and then instructions on how to physically create the design we made on all three machines!
If you already know some of this and are interested in other parts, consider attending the early parts to help other people!
For all parts, you will need a computer with a recent version of FreeCAD. For the 3d Printing workshop you should have OrcaSlicer
## Overview
13:00 FreeCAD workshop/presentation We take you through the basics of designing a coaster in FreeCAD.
14:30 3D printing workshop/presentation We show you how to export your design to 3d print it. You will be allowed to print it, for a limited amount of people (as 3d printing is slow). We will use Orca Slicer
15:30 Laser cutting workshop/presentation How to export and cut out your thing on a laser cutter
16:30 CNC presentation/workshop Learn how to cut your coaster using a CNC router/mill. Dinner We will probably order pizza Social/Workshop Time
