How to: Raise Capital For Your Technology Business

Details

We are pleased to present the second in a series of 'HOW TO' events, this time focused on how to raise capital for your technology business!

We are bringing together some of the brightest minds in SaaS, E-Commerce and Content businesses for an in-depth, expert panel discussion about funding and raising capital followed by Q&A and networking at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, London City.

The room will be filled with innovators, investors, and senior-level executives to talk about everything you need to know about funding. Successful entrepreneurs will open their playbooks and luminaries in M&A, technology startups, enterprise, sales, and marketing will offer proven insight. All business stages welcome to attend!

Our expert panelists have collectively raised tens of millions of dollars.

Meet the panelists:

Dan Hubert
Founder & CEO | AppyWay
Dan founded AppyParking after experiencing first-hand the pain of parking caused by a fragmented and broken market when trying to park near the Royal Albert Hall for a concert. From this was born the AppyParking mobile app, and from that lightbulb moment onwards, Dan has been leading the charge to help cities thrive, from the kerb up.

Greg Lawton
Co-Founder & CEO | Nodes & Links
Greg Lawton is an Astrophysicist who has spent his career at BAE Systems, managing large defence projects (£100M+), advising the Board of Directors on International Strategy, and owning key relationships with the UK Government and MoD. He left to co-found Nodes & Links after experiencing the challenge of delivering successful complex projects firsthand. Nodes & Links now operates across Europe and is at the forefront of research in complexity science and project management.

Ed Cooke
Co-Founder | Memrise
Ed Cooke is the co-founder and CEO of Memrise, the world's most entertaining language learning app. Memrise has attracted more than 50 million learners of more than 200 language pairs, was Google Play's global "app of the Year' in 2017 and is notable for having pioneered the use of cognitive science in learning tech. Ed is a Grand Master of Memory, author of Remember, Remember (Penguin), and his writing on learning and the mind have been featured in the Times, the Telegraph, New Scientist, and the Journal of Consciousness Studies.

Hannah Feldman
Co-Founder | Kidadl
Hannah is Co-founder of Kidadl - the marketplace for family leisure that solves the problem “what can we do with the kids today?”, matching families with relevant events and experiences through the curation of content and the smart use of data. Prior to founding Kidadl, Hannah commenced her career as a graduate at global advertising and marketing agency Ogilvy and moved on to qualify and work for 5 years as a corporate lawyer at international firm Linklaters. In 2007 Hannah transitioned from law to finance, working as a banker at UBS where she built a portfolio of UHNW clients from across the European venture landscape. She moved on to work for private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw in a role leading strategic partnerships and sell-side corporate finance for UK businesses. In 2016 Hannah decided to take the leap to the entrepreneurial world to found a business that solved a problem she experienced first-hand as a mum of 3 - and Kidadl was born!
