Bio:
Lalit works as a Strategy Manager at HCSC, the parent company of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. In this role, he focuses on application of data and analytics to enhance decision-making within the enterprise. Prior to this, he worked at Navigant Consulting (now Guidehouse) in its Healthcare Analytics practice and as a Product Manager at the healthcare analytics firm, Inovalon.

Synopsis:
In this meetup, he will discuss how different healthcare is financed and managed in different developed countries around the world, drawing primarily from material in the book "The Healing of America: A global quest for better, cheaper, and fairer health care" by T. R. Reid. Through this discussion, we will aim to develop a better global perspective of an important topic in domestic policy.
