I picked up the leadership of this group when the previous leaders did not step up after the Covid pandemic. I discovered that a Boston-based group of digital healthcare technologists had created a Chicagoland extension of their group now titled the "Chicago Healthcare Cloud and AI Technology Community" (CHCAITC), I am encouraging the pre-pandemic members of TfVBHM to join CHCAITC in order to benefit from that group's programming. For transparency, that group's leadership has, if I understand correctly, a marketing relationship with Microsoft. That is ok with me because my business is a member of the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program community, and an IT managed services provider. I no longer travel easily downtown from the suburbs, where I live, because of the side effects of the ongoing treatment that I receive to prevent a recurrence of prostate cancer.

I met many of you before the Covid pandemic at one or more of the meetings that we held after work hours at the law firm McDonald Hopkins LLC overlooking the west to east flow of the Chicago River downtown. If someone besides me wants to create a new version of TfVBHM, perhaps under a new name, I can invest some time ($0) in that project.
