In the face of such leaks, building a SECURE software system has become the topmost priority for businesses everywhere.

So, how do we build a secure, leak-proof system?

In this session, we will discuss and demonstrate:

3.) how can we test the security of an application

4.) how to do "continuous security testing" for your projects

Generally, when software craftsmanship is discussed, the aspect of security often gets overlooked. However, we believe that data security is one of the defining features of well crafted software. Therefore, this session is a must attend for software engineers & craftsmen.

Participants need to have a basic understanding of building web applications. Devs and QAs will gain the most mileage out of this session.

Developer, consultant, tech lead, Agile coach, security specialist; Shirish Padalkar (https://www.linkedin.com/in/shirishpadalkar/) has worn multiple hats in his decade long career.

Software security is a subject Shirish is passionate about. He is an expert in finding & fixing vulnerabilities in web applications... and has given multiple talks on secure coding practices.

Currently, he is a Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks, Pune.
