Come along to our December TechSysters event!

We will host a fireside chat with Kat McGurk, who will talk about her career journey transitioning from a Tech role to People Leadership, and the challenges of being a woman and open-lesbian navigating her career in a male-dominated environment.

As this is our last event pre-festive season, we will also have Networking, Games, Charcuterie, Cheese boards and plenty of drinks.

This will be a fairly informal gathering at the FanDuel office, new members welcome!

Kat McGurk is Group Director of HR Operations & Transformation at Flutter Entertainment, a NYSE-listed global sports-betting and gaming group. Kat was appointed to the role in April 2025 after serving as Group Director of Inclusion since January 2023. Prior to Flutter, Kat held senior transformation and portfolio leadership roles at Allianz and Paddy Power Betfair, where she led global programmes including large-scale Agile and DevOps transformations and major technology implementations. Earlier in her career, Kat held leadership roles at Symantec and Veritas, focusing on global operations and programme delivery. Kat has extensive experience in organisational transformation, HR operations, and technology-enabled change across multinational environments. She studied at the University of Edinburgh and is based in England

Kat was recently awarded the Diversity Champion of the Year at the European Diversity Awards and is currently Group HR Director of Operations and Transformation at Flutter Group.
