Hacktoberfest 2020 - Washington, DC!

Hi everyone! Long time no see!

Apologies for the lack of activity in 2020, the organizers of Tech Talk DC unofficially decided that we needed a break from hosting during the COVID-19 epidemic. However, we plan to re-open with an online-only event in conjunction with other local meetups!

Tech Talk DC is proud to sponsor and host the Hacktoberfest Online Meetup in Washington, DC!

What is Hacktoberfest?
Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software. Maintainers are invited to guide would-be contributors towards issues that will help move the project forward, and contributors get the opportunity to give back to both projects they like and others they've just discovered. No contribution is too small — bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating.

This event will be a local all-day meetup so that people can learn how to make open source pull requests, collaborate, and meet other open-source contributors in the DC Metro Area!
