In addition to exciting presentations by experts, you can expect inspiring conversations and discussions, as well as the exchange about current tools & trends and their use in practice. Let's be innovative together!
Technical talk “Road2Cloud – Best Practices, Opportunities & Threats”
(ca 30 to 45 minutes)
More and more companies and organizations are planning to migrate their own IT systems into the cloud in the near future. Others are “forced” to move to the cloud because of Software Lifecycle reasons. Many Software Vendors are following a pure cloud strategy and do not provide on-premise solutions anymore. But what are the advantages and disadvantages for companies to move into the cloud? What are proven concepts, best practices and risks here and how can a migration of existing systems be carried out successfully? What are the Do’s and Don'ts? We would like to discuss the opportunities and risks and share tips for a successful cloud migration. Stay tuned…
The talk will be given in English and aims both at a business and technical audience.
After Michaels' talk (starting around 7 pm) we look forward to a cozy get-together with conversations among like-minded people.
