Join Pieter van der Deen (AI Engineer at MBarQ), and Azure MVP Geert Baeke for two exciting sessions that show how to build chat apps on company data with Azure OpenAI. If you want to learn how to extend Azure OpenAI with custom data using either a low-code/no-code approach or via custom development, this is the event for you!

Important: physical event in Mechelen (Belgium)

Session 1: A low-code approach to building a ChatGPT app with custom data
Large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT can power various applications, but how can we customize them with our own data? Microsoft has a solution for this: a feature in Azure OpenAI that simplifies the process of adding data to LLMs.
In this session, we will explore this feature and apply it to create an HR bot that can work seamlessly with Teams. We will explore concepts such as vector search, RAG (retrieval augmented generation), and how to use the feature without writing custom code.

Session 2: Building custom GPT solutions
In this session, we'll delve into building custom GPT-based apps on Azure, especially when no-code and low-code options aren't enough. We will discuss:

  • Potential architectures using Azure services, including Azure Functions and the Bot Framework
  • The use of LangChain, a renowned library for constructing LLM apps, particularly for document processing
  • Plugins and tools that LLMs can utilize for diverse tasks
  • Techniques in prompt engineering to extract specific results from the LLM

To wrap up, we'll analyze two real-world examples and their unique solutions.
