We're excited to announce that Designing Shanghai 2016 will be held at the Conde Nast Center on Saturday, June 25th. If you are interested in design and want to explore Shanghai from a different perspective, this event is for you!
Designing Shanghai is a one-day workshop that applies Human-Centered Design to problems in the local community. In previous years, participants have observed, brainstormed, and designed creative solutions to issues like disabled access, food safety, special education needs, air quality, marriage markets, and more.
In this year's Designing Shanghai, we will be exploring the theme of "Intergenerational Harmony". Shanghai is a city known for its work opportunities, but how does the city look from the perspective of families caring for young children and the older generation? What are the challenges that families in Shanghai face, and what could be done to improve their experience?
