These are the voyages of three Starfleet officers addressing us after their mission to seek out new life and new civilisations. Join us on stardate 12601.27 to "boldly go where no one has gone before"
Speakers
- Dr. Lauren Vinnell | To explore strange new worlds, and understand our own: The societal value of sci-fi
- Dr. Moiz Penkar | Immanuel Kant, individual free will, and the United Federation of Planets
- Dr. Sara Harrison | Good intentions, bad outcomes: What Star Trek teaches us about intervening in complex systems
Each talk will be 10 mins, followed by 10 mins of questions. It's usually beneficial to bring a pen/notepad to take notes ๐๐ค Romulans and Cardassians are more than welcome. Get your pay-what-you-feel ticket on this link ๐

Tea will be available at the venue. Drinks are also available from the cash bar. Feel free to bring some snacks to share over post-event chats and networking.
