Social Saturday - Limits We Live By
The social hub Restaurant & Bar, Hoefkade 11, 2526 BN Den Haag, Países Baixos,, Den Haag, NLLimits We Live By
*This is a paid event for returning members, please pay the 5 euros fee via our donation link: https://bunq.me/TEDxTheHagueSome limits protect us. Some define us. And some quietly confine us.
What if some of the limits shaping our lives aren't facts, but stories we've learned to believe?
Some limits are real: time, resources, responsibilities, and the realities of life. Others are wise: the boundaries that protect our wellbeing, focus, and values. But some are inherited assumptions, old expectations, or beliefs we've never stopped to question.
At this TEDxTheHague Social Saturday, we'll explore the visible and invisible boundaries that shape what we believe is possible—for ourselves and for others.
Together, we'll reflect on questions such as:- What limits currently shape the way you see yourself and your possibilities?
- Which of those limits are real, wise, or simply stories?
- What might change if you consciously chose which limits to respect, move, or let go of?
This isn't about pretending every barrier can be overcome. It's about learning to distinguish between the limits that deserve our respect and the ones that deserve our curiosity.
Come curious. Leave seeing your limits and possibilities a little differently. This event is 2 hours + drink/networking.

TEDx Salon - Feeling Alive
The social hub Restaurant & Bar, Hoefkade 11, 2526 BN Den Haag, Países Baixos,, Den Haag, NLThis is a paid event (10 eur), please purchase the ticket on Eventbrite to save your spot.
When was the last time you truly felt alive? Not comfortable. Not distracted. But fully present—energized, aware, maybe even a little uncomfortable.
Many of us spend our lives trying to avoid discomfort. And in doing so, we may also be avoiding the very experiences that make life feel real.In this Salon, we explore:
- The relationship between discomfort and aliveness
- Why we avoid certain experiences—and what it costs us
- How uncertainty, risk, and vulnerability shape a meaningful lifeIt’s about reconnecting with what makes you feel awake, present, and engaged.
Expect a slightly different kind of evening—one that invites curiosity, reflection, and maybe a small step outside your comfort zone. This is not a workshop with answers. It’s a space to think, feel, and connect—with yourself and others navigating similar questions.
This event is 2 hours + drink/networking.
