What we’re about

A Creative Meetup for Teen Girls to Craft, Connect, and Share

Welcome to the Teen Girl Hobby Hive, a cozy and creative space just for teen girls who want to make things and make new friends!
Our meetups are about more than crafting—they’re about connection, creativity, and confidence. Whether you're brand new to making or already love DIY, this group is a place to try something new, have fun, and grow together.

What We’ll Do at Our Events
Our first meetup will be held at the Palatine Library, where we’ll learn the adorable art of amigurumi crochet—those tiny, squishy, handmade stuffed animals and figures.

We’ll guide you step by step, and we’re also excited to learn from you! If you have a craft or creative skill you’d love to share, we’re all ears.

👯‍♀️ Who Should Join?
Teen girls (ages 13–18) who want:

  • To try new hobbies and crafts
  • To connect with others in a kind, welcoming environment
  • To feel inspired and supported while being creative
  • To maybe even teach a thing or two of their own!

🧵 Our Affiliation
This group is lovingly hosted by Woolcroft, a small, mom-and-daughter-owned craft business dedicated to creativity and community. We believe in crafting with heart and creating spaces where girls can shine.

Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you’re welcome.
Let’s make something beautiful—together. 💛
