What we’re about
The Tejano Heritage Society is seeking members in the Rio Grande Valley to form a non-profit based on Tejano Culture. We are seeking like-minded people who identify as Tejano who want to unite our people to eventually be recognized as a Federal Recognized Tribe. This is long and arduous road that has no guarantees of success. But along the way, we will create a community with traditions and opportunities that benefit our members for generations. Our history, our culture cannot be forgotten by our own people as we grow into this new century. Remember heros like Juan Cortina or the Republic of the Rio Grande be our inspiration.
