Join fellow Apache Airflow enthusiasts at Palo Alto Networks’ offices for an evening of engaging presentations, great conversation, delicious food, drinks, and of course, swag!
The evening will consist of Airflow-specific presentations followed by networking. We can’t wait to see you there!

PRESENTATIONS
Talk 1: Researchers Shouldn’t Write DAGs
Speaker: Benzi Megido, Principal Data Engineer, Palo Alto Networks (Cortex)
In high-scale cybersecurity research, researchers need to focus on threat detection logic rather than being bogged down by data orchestration and pipeline mechanics. In this talk, we share how the Research Data Engineering (RDE) team at Palo Alto Networks (Cortex) built a unified, modular orchestration framework tailored specifically for security researchers. We will explore our core architecture, from YAML-based Content Definition Files (CDF) to enforcing security guardrails, strict validation, and GCP cost attribution, while looking ahead at our roadmap for AI-driven pipeline generation. Join us to learn how decoupling business logic from orchestration complexities enables researchers to ship faster with lightweight, secure, and maintainable workflows.

Talk 2: Green Is Not Done: Why You Should Add an Agent in the End of Your Pipeline
Speaker: Eden Bar-Tov, Co-Head of Data Engineering Guild, Wix
Most of our tooling watches pipelines that fail. But some of the costliest surprises come from pipelines that succeed: the job is green and the numbers are wrong, or the numbers are right and nobody noticed they moved. In this talk, we’ll look at what happens after the last task turns green, and why we started to put an agent there. We’ll cover how it finds the slices you missed, how it tells a data issue from a business change, and how it learns from its own past verdicts, not only from the people who use it. You’ll leave with a blueprint you can add to the end of your own pipelines.

Talk 3: What’s New and What’s Next: Apache Airflow’s Evolving Roadmap
Speaker: Elad Kalif, Field Architect at Astronomer
A tour of the latest Airflow features alongside a look at what’s on the horizon, helping you plan your workflows and infrastructure for what comes next.
