Getting into low level exploitation and ever wondered how to get a root shell? We'll go through the first two kernel pwn challenges on pwnable.kr together - syscall and rootkit. Additionally we'll discuss some basic Linux internals and security mitigations. No prior kernel experience needed - a userspace overflow or two is plenty. Bring a Linux box / VM, and we'll figure the rest out as we go :]
