Case studies of custom enzyme development for drug discovery campaigns

Details
Phil Adams, R&D Manager, Eurofins DiscoverX Products France will present an overview of the development carried out for a selection of custom enzyme production projects and portfolio expansion projects will be presented, demonstrating the processes carried out to generate large quantities of highly pure, active enzymes that are a pre-requisite for effective structure-function studies and/or HTS drug discovery campaigns.
The EDPF branch of Eurofins DiscoverX has a long history of manufacturing high quality, active enzymes as off-the-shelf and custom manufactured products. In addition to our product portfolio, we have a very active custom production service which has been used over the years to generate a diverse collection of proteins. The custom protein production service we offer is differentiated from others by our experience in generating functionally active recombinant enzymes, and our capability, through close collaboration with Eurofins partners on site, to characterize those enzymes for functionality/catalytic activity.
