Ironbridge highlights circular walk.

A lovely 8 mile walk which takes in most of the historical landscape of the Ironbridge Gorge. Starting from the large car park next to Madeley Police Station, we follow the Silkin Way down to Coalport crossing the river via Coalport Bridge. The route continues along the Severn Valley Way, passing Jackfield and eventually crossing the river again over the Ironbridge. We then continue along the Wharfage, up Station Road to Coalbrookdale and then head back towards the end of the walk via Rough Park Way. We eventually re-join the Silkin Way for the last half mile back to the car park.
The walk is not too strenuous with just short climbs at Preens Eddy, Station Road and the start of Rough Park Way.
