To the Leaky Dam in Rustic Canyon

This use to be the Enchanted Forest hike. It's not so enchanted anymore. Instead, we will hike to the Leaky Dam.

On the way back, we will climb the 550-step staircase, which we have not done before. Yes, we have done its neighbor, the 450-step staircase, many times, but never this one.

The hike is part out-and-back and part loop.

We meet at 8:20 and will leave no later than 8:30.

Capri Drive is reached from Sunset Blvd. You go up a couple of blocks, circle all the way around the roundabout, and then go a few more blocks.

DISTANCE (ROUND-TRIP) - About 5 miles
ELEVATION: Less than 1000 feet.

WHAT TO BRING:
Water
Hiking shoes
Good mood

WHERE:
We will meet in the street on the corner of Capri Drive and Casale Road. The address listed below is the number of the house at that corner.

PARKING:
This is a neighborhood so it will be street parking. You will likely have to park a couple of blocks away. READ THE SIGNS. There are parking restrictions on some of the streets.
