Santa Ynez Trail

We meet at 8:20 AM and will leave at 8:30 sharp.

This is a moderately challenging 5 mile hike. The first 1.25 miles are mostly flat and through a lush forest. Then we go uphill for another 1.25 miles to one of the large fire roads in Topanga State Park. Then right back down.

And because this is Topanga State Park, dogs are not allowed. If you decide to bring your dog---which is fine with me---you would be taking a risk that a park ranger would notice this infraction. Unlikely but possible.

WHERE:
From the PCH, head east (inland) on Sunset Boulevard for about 0.5 miles. Turn left on Palisades Drive. After about 2.5 miles, turn left onto Vereda De La Montura. Safely park in permitted areas along the street.

WE WILL MEET AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TRAIL.
