We meet at 8:20 and will begin no later than 8:30

A moderately challenging 4.6 mile trail in the Pacific Palisades. This route takes you on the popular Temescal Ridge Trail. The hike makes a strong ascent up to the ridge and to Skull Rock, a cool little rock formation with some excellent views of the Pacific Coast and inland.

Not really a beginners hike--there are significant stretches of uphill--but if you are a beginner and want a challenge then this is for you. The reward will be spectacular views from Skull Rock and from there back to the starting point is all downhill.
