Book/Movie Club - 3rd Thursday

Read/listen to the book, see the movie, or both!

I just finished the miniseries on Hulu and thought it was one of the best shows I've seen (2024 show, NOT the 1980s show). Based on actual events, Japanese culture, history were fascinating. The book is extremely long, and I've read comments it's very slow to start but well worth the read, so we will try something new, splitting into 2 parts. I'm hoping the book will be as great as the show was.

*Sept and Oct read: Shogun by James Clavell (1,152 pages ... splitting into two book club meetings, part 1 Sept, part 2 Oct)
