Saber Training, Sparring, and Games!

Location is Corbell Park in Tempe! Meetup attendance is non-indicative of actual attendance, we usually have 10-15 people show up.
We are technically a pre-existing saber group called Syndicate Saber Tempe! What we do is teach the basics of sword fighting similar to fencing or longsword then use those skills to play games like Capture the Flag or Team Deathmatch.

Requirements: New members must be 18+ years old or 16+ with parental signature to join but other than that, anyone is welcome. We will have you sign a release of liability waiver at the beginning before joining as well. We have plenty of loaner sabers but please bring an ID if you wish to have a loaner saber for us to hold on to while you use one of our sabers.

All it takes is showing up! If you are new, we will start off training and going over rules and safety stuff, maybe some light sparring to get to know other members, and from there we'll move into group games! See you there.
