Arcane Alchemy: Wisdom of the Wise Magi - Sacred Holiday Gathering

The Magi were the wise men, and three kings who set out to see the newborn baby Jesus on Christmas. While it's unclear whether these men were historical figures or a part of myth and legend, they were a strong part of the Christmas narrative. In the time of birth and new beginnings to the dawn of a new age, we think of the story of Christmas as being heralded by three wise wizards, who come bearing gifts.

Their gifts are in a way their definition: the gifts are the defining characteristic of magick at the time. Gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The power, the protection, the ability to move energy, and to herald new beginnings in the cold of winter, are all a part of what is celebrated during this time.

For a very special final Christmas extravaganza, please join us for a deep look into the magick of the three Wise Magi of Christmas. Let us take some time to understand their power, and gather under the sacred for this wintertime remembrance of all that magical within each and every one of us.

We will begin with a discussion and lecture, followed by two meditations, and group Reiki downloads.

Alchemy is the ancient practice of takwin, as notable alchemist Jabir ibn Hayyan called it: the creation of life through the inspiration of the Divine.
The earliest alchemical texts can be attributed to the ancient Mesopotamians, who in turn were teachers and students of Egyptian esoteric scholars. Alchemy has been pursued by many philosophers and mystics since, from India and China, to Byzantium and medieval Europe.
If the galactic universe is a framework for pure astral harmony. Ancient students of alchemy pursued an understanding of the composition of the natural perfection around them to manifest and engineer a new reality. The goal was to transmute existence into golden exaltation and to cure all disease, eventually achieving full spiritual immortality.

Alchemy at its heart is a holistic view of the universe that sees all life as spiritually and divinely ordered. Science and medicine are one in the same, and so the healing wisdom of medicine people and animist viewpoints became blended with the act of spiritual creation. All tools are used in alchemy, from potions to crystals to wands and the magic reiki within our very hands.
