Yule Winter Solstice and Saturnalia: Ancient Wintertime Sacred Ceremony

Welcoming all witches, sorcerers, pagans, shamans, light workers, crystal keepers, reiki practitioners, healers, and those looking to find themselves and their spirit.
This event will conclude our Christmas Extravaganza series.
Since prehistory, the Winter solstice has been seen as a time of death and rebirth of the Sun, marked by local festivals and rituals. This extravagance during Wintertime and the cold of winter is as old as we are. As the solar year ends, the darkness of night becomes especially magical, fun, whispering of the many mysteries hiding in the shadows.
To the Germanic pagan peoples, Yule was the name of the festival observed during this time. It was meant to celebrate the Wild Hunt, the Norse god Odin, and a celebration known as Mother's Night. This is a time of feasting, of honoring the Yule-beings and old gods, and a celebration of the longest night of the year.
Saturnalia was an ancient Roman celebration, similar to the Greek Kronia, celebrated through exchanges of gifts and a great bacchanal. This was a time of lighting candles and a celebration of true freedom, welcoming a gathering of lawlessness in honor of the god of agriculture.
Let us gather with these incredible forces and rejoice. Now is the time for dreams, to receive downloads through the veil, and to allow the darkness of the year's longest day to envelop our spirit.
This is a time to heal deeply and work in friendship with the shadow. We will connect with meditation, reiki, and an invitation of love and blessings.
