Hypnosis: What it is and how it can be used to redesign your mind
Throughout history humans have used forms of hypnosis to alter thought and perception, but few of us know what it actually is and how it works. In this class we'll explore the brain's inner workings and how this modality can be used to make the changes in your life that previously seemed too difficult or even impossible. According to a study conducted by American Health magazine, patients using hypnotherapy reported a 93% success rate after just 6 sessions. Why is this? Most therapists only deal with the conscious mind, which only comprises 12% of brain function- but with application of the hypnotic state we are able tap into the subconscious mind, which makes up an astonishing 88% of total brain function. No, I won't make you cluck like a chicken or dance on a table with a lampshade on your head (that is unless you want me to) but I will help you understand why we behave the way we do and what steps to take to affect real and lasting change. In the state of hypnosis you are in control and aware at all times and no one can make you do something against your will…so relax. At the end of each class I will give a group hypnosis session to let you experience its many benefits firsthand.
