This quaint remote barn enjoys far reaching views and Dale walks from the door. Having no electric and no distractions it is the perfect place to switch off from the hassles of a hectic life. Its like camping but you don’t get wet! This isn’t just a walking holiday; picture jams underneath starlight, lungs full of clean air, peace and tranquility in the British countryside as the weather just starts turning towards Autumn You will need to bring: Your usual camping equipment A good sleeping bag A foam mat (blow up air bed) – as mattresses are not provided Warm clothes, walking boots or stout shoes. One torch as there is no electricity at the barn

Typical schedule:

This holiday is all about getting back to basics and enjoying the best countryside that the North has to offer. Each day we’ll be heading out for a walk around 10am and returning to our barn at about 5pm. Probably having stopped for a pint in the odd pub along the way The evenings will be spent jamming, sitting in a pub, jamming some more and sleeping soundly from the hard day’s walk. Some walks we’re planning: Narrowdale Hill Tissington Trail Steppingstones of Dovedale The Manifold Track and Thor’s Cave

Food and Drink

Here is a typical menu: Breakfast – Fry up – vegan and meat versions or cereal or toast and spreads Lunch – Packed lunch because we’ll be out walking Dinner –BBQ Snacks – Crisps, chocolate, fruit Drinks –some beer, ale, wine, cider, fruit juice, Fizzy drinks
