Running around Greenwich Park while listening to Jaime XX
Details
We're taking on Greenwich Park and its surroundings hills while we run to Jaime XX's incredible In Waves Album. Cited by many as one of the albums of 2024 this is perfect running tackle with a beautiful, slower track right in the middle called Breath which I have timed for the incline as we ascend up Coombes Hill.
All runs have been tested and carefully timed, so that the album ends when you reach the place where you started and so that certain tracks sync up visually and physically to the run...providing we run in tempo.
This is a 44 minute and 50 second effort (the duration of the album) followed by optional Coffees at The Pavilion Cafe, just by the amazing view that everyone likes to have their photograph taken Infront of.
We start at 7.00 am.
I tested this run on January 15th between 6 and 7pm. I burnt 811 calories, the elevation gain was 69. The distance was 9.35k
The challenge is Coombes hill. If you don't normally run hills, don't worry, we'll wait for you while we do some stretches and pause the album. And, if you do run hills but feel like you could do them better, there's an approach related to the how the music plays during this bit that I'd be happy to show you.
We will be meeting at the Blackheath entrance of Greenwich park, doing an internal circuit of the park, exiting to do an external circuit, running a small bit of the heath and finishing where we started.
Bring headphones :)
See you there!
