Night Hike to Frog Town - Couchville Lake Recreation Area

Many species of frogs make Long Hunter their home, and summer evenings are the ideal time to listen for their sounds.

Join Ranger Leslie for an easy one-mile stroll on the Couchville Lake Trail to learn about our frog species. We'll walk quietly and listen for their calls -- and perhaps even see a few. If the group is willing, we may also investigate an area known as Frog Town for its wide assortment of frog species.

Insect repellent is recommended, and feel free to bring a light source and camera as well.

No pets, please.

Directions:
Enter Long Hunter State Park at the main park entrance (2910 Hobson Pike) and then take the first left (which is the Couchville Lake Area) and proceed to the parking lot beside Couchville Lake.
