Let's have a Sunday Funday and hike the Hidden Passage Trail at Pickett State Park. Combined with Mid South Hiking and Adventures
If you've never been to this area yet, and you like to hike, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
This 8 mile +/- is rated hard for distance, elevation change and rugged terrain. Depending on the group we may make a side trip to a tunnel.
This hike is @ 9:30 AM CENTRAL.
NOTE-the time zone change line runs directly through that area, so expect your watch, phone, etc to randomly switch back and forth between eastern and central times.
It can be kinda confusing if you are unaware.
This hike offers huge rock houses, cliffs and unusual sandstone formations, shaped and formed by erosion over millions of years. This trail also has a couple of cool overlooks along with a couple of waterfalls so hopefully we will have some decent water flow.

Expect looong inclines and declines, rough, rugged, rooty, rocky and at times slimy/wet and/or slippery terrain.
We'll eat lunch on the trail, so bring food/snacks.
Bring PLENTY of water.

There no restroom so plan accordingly.
Dogs on leash are always welcome.
After the hike we'll stop somewhere for re-hydration and food for those interested.
