Budget-Friendly AI: Strategies for Working with Large Models on a Tight Budget

Large Language Models/Multi-modal are powerful and very effective tools that would forever change human society but there's a slight drawback when it comes to these model and that is their cost. Inference and Fine-tuning these models can be very expensive. Cloud based AI models can also become expensive as time passes. This isn't feasible for startups and small businesses here in Nigeria.

The primary focus on this workshop is to show the different strategies that can be employed to run and fine-tune these Large models cost effectively. The workshop would explore techniques like quantization for performing inference on a budget.
