Saturday Night Social for Expats & Locals

Join us for our fun socials taking place every two weeks. In the cold season. we’ll meet in Hot bar, a normal bar with affordable drinks, located in the heart of Alt-Sachsenhausen. We are either in the room with the Darts board right behind the entrance or if taken in the area around the bar.

This is the perfect Meetup if you’re new in town, keen to meet people from all over the world, or open-minded Germans. Exchange travel plans, new ideas and hints what’s there to do in Frankfurt in the cold season, find new best friends and practice your languages (main language is English, but German, Spanish, French, Italian and sometimes Russian, Arabic, Mandarin and other languages can be practiced).

Anything from a relaxed drink & nice conversation with friends and newbies, to a spontaneous Darts match and in some cases some people ending up dancing on an improvised dancefloor near the entrance is possible. The event officially lasts 2 hours but you may be able to find part of the group after that, so don’t hesitate to drop by later.

Please bring CASH! The bar recently also started accepting cards but there Is only 1 card reader and it’s 20€ minimum. They have decent beer from Pfungstädter, wine, shots&cocktails, but also a wide range of non-alcoholic cold&hot drinks. Please note that most of the time, there will be a 2€ deposit on your glass, which you can redeem with the red plastic chip they’ll give you. The only food is Nacho Chips with hot sauce. You can have street food in the neighbourhood or else have dinner before making your way.
