Movie One battle after another@student cinema

Tonight we return to our favorite movie theatre, the student cinema Pupille in Bockenheim, with Meet&Greet drinks nearby - note new location as explained below. Bring cash!

Tonight’s movie is „One battle after another“, the new movie of Wes Thomas Anderson (Licorice Pizza etc), featuring Leonardo Di Caprio (as hippie and former terrorist and Sean Penn (as racist policemen- could not be more timely). It won 6 Oscars at the last ceremony. It is shown in original English language with German subtitles. It sounds like an action movie but defies any categorization, it‘s also Drama and Thriller and Comedy. More than 2 1/2 hours, finishing just before 11pm, so make sure you‘ve eaten enough and are not too tired from the weekend.

UPDATE: We meet 7:30pm in the pub Volkswirtschaft, Jordanstr 13, for a short drink and meet&greet. Cafe KOZ nor our usual plan B location Extrablatt are currently open. just after 8pm we proceed to the cinema upstairs. Please note that this movie will be popular so if you arrive just at 8:15pm, it could be sold out

Entrance to the cinema is only 2.50€, tickets can only be bought at the box office. Note that this is a CASH-ONLY venue. Only small cold snacks are served in the cinema, so try to have early dinner (or arrive a bit ahead of time and have dinner at the pub - limited selection of German food). Drinks are available at affordable prices at the cinema.
