European Festival of Music
Details
Each year the Cultural Institutes for bigger countries - Spain, Italy, France and Germany - join forces at Instituto Cervantes in Westend for an evening of temporary music which ranges from classical themes to pop music.
We meet in the Cervantes lobby at 7pm to enter the Aula for the next concert, and between concerts sit down in the garden, have a chat and enjoy the culinary offerings of the above countries (except German food thank god!) and drinks. CASH is required as far as I can remember.
Tonight’s programme is the following - the exact timing nor sequence of concerts is not entirely clear from the internet, though, so it’s a guesstimate:
18:30 Martin Boyer - Singer-Songwriter of French folk music (I.e. outside the official Meetup)
19:45 Luca Ciarla, Violonist, playing Jazz, Classical themes, folk mash-up. The first two performances may also be swapped.
21:00 Queralt Lahoz, Spanish shooting star mixing Hip-Hop, Soul and Dancehall
22:15 Finja, German Singer-Songwriter participating in German Pop Idol some time ago
