Little Havana Night Walk - Let's Get Curious

It's so hot out! During Miami's hot summers, why not go for a night walk? Join me for a FREE walk through Little Havana at night. As the owner of TerraViva Journeys and a longtime Little Havana tour guide, I normally offer TOURS, but these walks are different. We'll be co-explorers.

On these walks, I will not be in the role of the guide, but more of a facilitator. We'll be learning from each other. We'll be deepening our attentiveness to our surroundings and learning from the various ways we interpret and perceive the world around us. As a cultural anthropologist, I will facilitate our journey so that we all have a chance to participate; I'll also be asking thought-provoking questions along the way.

Who knows who might join the walk! Perhaps you're a street artist who might want to point out murals that have special meaning to you. Perhaps you're a local who can tell us about a house or business you miss, that once stood where we are passing by. Perhaps you are knowledgeable about particular trees we encounter. Perhaps you have never been to Little Havana, and want to share first impressions. It doesn't matter: we will learn from each other, and from our diverse perspectives.
