After the wild success (and questionable football) of last year, the long-awaited Terrible Football Tournament is officially making its return!

📍 Location: Wavertree Botanical Park
🕙 Arrival: 10:00 AM
⚽ Kick-Off: 10:30 AM sharp
⏱️ Ends: Around 3:00 PM

Here’s What to Expect:
Group stages leading into a knockout format
Teams will be picked fairly on the day – all about mixing it up
🏆 Winners walk away with a trophy and eternal bragging rights
Referees? Sort of. Players from the teams not playing will step in – so expect some dodgy decisions and even dodgier banter
Likely 8 teams again, just like last year
Expect drama, flukes, thunderbolts, and at least one lad cramping up by lunch

Important Info:
You must be signed up on Meetup to play. No sign-up = no game time (unless someone drops out last minute)
Bring your own food, drinks, and maybe a camping chair if you’re fancy
We’ll be playing from 10 till around 3, so make sure you’re ready for a full shift
