# Why So Many of Us Feel Disconnected, Rushed, or Unsatisfied—and What We Were Never Taught
What if almost everything we've been taught about sex is incomplete?
Most of us received little more than basic biology in school. The rest we pieced together from movies, pornography, religion, cultural expectations, awkward conversations, early partners, and trial and error.
And yet, our beliefs about sex profoundly influence our relationships, our confidence, and even our experience of our own bodies.
Many women quietly lose interest in sex and assume it's hormones, aging, stress, or something wrong with them. Or simply that this is just what happens.
Many men carry enormous pressure to perform, stay hard, satisfy their partner, and finish at the "right" time. Not surprisingly, concerns like erectile dysfunction are becoming increasingly common, and our modern approach to sex may be contributing more than we realize.
Both can end up feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or wondering why intimacy has become rushed, routine, or emotionally distant.
This 90-minute experiential class is not about sexual performance or explicit techniques.
It is about questioning the script and exploring a more conscious, embodied, and deeply connected approach to intimacy.
We will explore:
• Reframing what great sex actually is
• The hidden cost of performance
• The forgotten intelligence of the body
• Why slowing down changes everything
• The problem with making orgasm the finish line
• Presence over technique
• The untapped potential of conscious intimacy
The class includes a guided body-awareness meditation, thought-provoking discussion, a simple interactive exercise, and one practical skill you can begin using immediately—alone or with a partner.
You will never be asked to share personal sexual experiences, and there will be no explicit demonstrations.
Come whether you are single, partnered, dating, sexually active, or haven't been intimate in years.
The goal isn't to give you every answer.
It's to challenge outdated assumptions, offer a few genuinely useful insights, and leave you with better questions about your body, your relationships, and what intimacy might become.
As a complimentary gift, all attendees will receive Terry's guided Conscious Intimacy meditation to continue exploring these ideas at home.
