What we’re about
Welcome to the Terry Pratchett Book Club. This group is a bi-monthly book club dedicated to the work of the late fantasy writer and satirist Terry Pratchett.
We will meet once every other month and discuss the next book that we read in roughly chronological order. Everyone will be given a moment to share their opinions before we open up to wider discussion. The aim to create a friendly, inclusive environment where people get together and share their love of Pratchett's fantastical work.
THE RULES
1) DON'T BE A BULLY.
This is a place for friendly discussion, not internet-style temper tantrums. If you have any issues with another member, please feel free to speak to me about it.
2) DON'T BE A CREEP
This isn't Tinder. Making new friends (or more) is the point of socializing, but if you make people feel uncomfortable or threatened then there's no place for you.
3) HAVE FUN
Discworld is a wonderful place to visit and I hope we will make new friends as we explore Pratchett's creations together.
This group is open to and affirming of all races, religions, backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender presentations, Death Avatars, Uberwaldians, Igors, Good Folk, Witches, Tourists, Old Barbarians, Whatever Nobby Is, Cowardly Wizards, Watchpeople, Assassins, Omnians, Vampires, Post Masters, and all others, so long as they obey the three rules above.
