Brilliant animated movie directed by Franco Brusati
Madame Souza instills in her grandson, Champion, a love of cycling and she becomes his trainer. During the Tour de France Champion he goes missing. Evidence points to him being kidnapped. With Champion's dog Bruno at her side, Madame Souza goes looking for Champion. Their journey takes them to the town of Belleville where they befriend the Triplets of Belleville. The triplets help them to locate and rescue Champion.
