🎤 Patryk Arct
Always been a tech fan and been around computer since I remember. Fun fact: I tried to delete C:\windows just to see what would happen.
My first contact with testing was in 2013, where I started with Web testing in insurance and later tel-com. Biggest experience gained in project for Procter & Gamble where from web testing I have moved to more data quality and quality process-oriented roles.
Now as QA Engineering manager I’m focused on creating environment where quality is seamlessly integrated into SDLC process. Ask me about QA and I’ll answer that almost all of the departments in product company have some areas that we could contribute - it’s all about a mindset of continuous improvement.
But first, a good cup of coffee!
🗨️ "Tools Gone Wild: Managing Stack Without Losing Control" (talk will be in English)
Have you ever found yourself thinking, “Hey, this tool could help me deliver better quality!” only to hear, “Nope, we already have tool XYZ which is similar”? In this talk, I’d like to touch upon the topic of tooling freedom in the context of single company, multiple teams, and their often diverse needs. I’ll share set of observations, thoughts and conclusions based on my experience. We will discuss potential setups, outcomes and consequences, all while connecting them to final quality of the product. I like to think of it as an art of letting teams explore without loosing the software standards and finding the optimal point between choice and standardisation*.* Fair warning: most likely I’ll generate more questions than answers!

Z dostarczeniem jakości związana jestem od wielu lat, jako testerka, liderka zespołów, test/quality managerka, trenerka TMAP. Większość tego czasu spędziłam w branżą Automotive. W codziennej pracy ważne są dla mnie procesy jakościowe i relacje z ludźmi. Przez ostatnie lata jestem zaangażowana w budowanie kultury doceniania wśród testerów.
Jestem fanką F1, sportów wodnych i szydełkuję smoki 🙂

Dobrze stosowane techniki docenienia są niewidoczne, a jednocześnie ułatwiają ludziom “przetrwanie” nawet w trudnych warunkach.
Podczas prezentacji wyjaśnię czym jest docenianie pozafinansowe i pokażę wartość takiego doceniania w czasach, gdy nie zawsze są możliwe podwyżki i bonusy finansowe. Zaprezentuję wyniki badań tego obszaru z ubiegłych lat oraz opowiem, jak docenianie pomaga budować zaufanie, więzi, dobre samopoczucie osób oraz całych zespołów.
