Be prepared and join the Test My Product Slack channel via this link: https://join.slack.com/t/testmyproduct/shared_invite/zt-e1mels5z-wCHuX1silw~sYlxujGC~2w About this event: Test my Product is a recurring event where people interested in making awesome products and services come together to try out each other's work and share feedback. Drop by to test your own project and/or see the cool stuff others have been working on. We are convinced that user testing helps any type of product, either digital, physical, commercial, personal, finished, or conceptual. Everyone is welcome. Inspiration and insights are guaranteed! Our events are a bit different from the average meetup. We keep it structured to make sure your time together is effective and efficient. The focus is on gathering and providing insights in a safe and personal setting and networking only plays a secondary role. During the event we divide ourselves up in pairs of testers for "Speed-date"-like sessions. During these each tester gets a 10 minute long turn to give feedback. Then the pairs are switched up so everybody exchanges thoughts with multiple people throughout the event. Visitors with no projects to test simply get double the time to give feedback so are incredibly appreciated! This event setup lends itself well for prototype testing, product evaluation, short interviews, conversations about concepts, trying out a pitch, benchmarking, comparing versions, card sorting, small co-design activities, or generating new ideas. We find it really helps if you think about your research goals beforehand. Feel free to reach out to the organisers with questions at any time, we have seen and hosted many tests ourselves and are happy to share tips and tricks. In-person events: We provide food and drinks to keep you and the other visitors sharp and energetic. We don't serve or allow alcoholic drinks because we like to keep the event focused and accessible. If you want you can hang out in a bar with each other afterwards or another time. WiFi and charging ports are available, but there are no test devices such as phones or computers. Be sure to bring what you need for your own test or don't test at all. It is not OK to use or to plug external memory in devices from other participants. Note that the location may change between events so be sure to always double-check the address. If you have trouble finding or getting into the building call us at[masked]. Online events: Recently we have started to organise these events online as well. We start these off in a general video chat that we can use to gather, get set up, and introduce ourselves. You can find the link to the general chat in this invitation. After the round of introductions is done we will dive into the break-out rooms, which are on Slack, and follow the basic "Speed-dating" routine as described above. To join the Slack channel follow this link: https://join.slack.com/t/testmyproduct/shared_invite/zt-e1mels5z-wCHuX1silw~sYlxujGC~2w Try to be on time to get most out of the event, but don't hesitate to join later if you have to. If you are late it really helps to let us know when you will join beforehand.
