After a little break, We are back for an evening of Software Test Talks and are being hosted by the awesome folk at Principality.
We have 3 awesome talks lined up for you, and, of course, lots of free drinks and pizza courtesy of the Principality team 🍕
If you haven't been before, don't worry, our meetups are open to anyone with an interest in Software Testing, whether you are just getting started, a seasoned QA or a dev who wants to improve your testing game. Many people come along on their own and we make sure the evening is as friendly and welcoming as possible 💚
Here’s how the evening tends to run,
You're welcome to join us from 6 PM onwards! We’ll have a variety of pizzas and drinks for you to enjoy. Feel free to grab a slice, chat with our friendly group, and meet some new faces. If you'd like an introduction, just find our organiser, Sam, or jump right in and say hello!
Around 6:30 we will then move on to our talks with a break for more pizza in between and our Amazon Voucher giveaway courtesy of the folks at SR2 (Socially Responsible Recruitment)

Stepping into the public sector for the first time has been both exciting and challenging. In this talk I’ll share my journey of joining the DVSA during a key transition period, and how I’m working to shape and grow a quality-focused team. From navigating change to setting the foundations for lasting improvements, I’ll give an honest account of the lessons, challenges, and opportunities that come with leading quality in such a vital organisation.
Talk 3: Dan Billing - Smarter Testing, Faster Feedback: Our Playwright Migration Story
We’re in the midst of modernising our test automation framework—moving from Selenium to Playwright—and it’s already reshaping how we test. This talk shares the thinking behind our tool selection, the early wins, and the practical strategies we’re using to build momentum. It’s a story of continuous improvement, team collaboration, and learning as we go. If you're considering a shift or just curious about what Playwright can offer, this session is packed with insights to help you plan your own journey.
