🎤 Introduction (about 10 minutes total)

At the beginning of every meetup, we get to know each other. Be prepared to say a sentence or two about yourself. If you are looking for a job or hiring, this would be a good time to mention it.

☝️ Ana Prpic (Oradian), Ivana Maleš Galić (Span): Romanian Testing Conference 2018 Report

They will give a short report about Romanian Testing Conference 2018 and share some tips how to travel from Zagreb and Osijek to Cluj-Napoca. They will also share their thoughts, whether this conference met their expectations, how to select the right workshops and sessions, and how to prepare for workshops. They will cover a few workshops and sessions: Web Application Security Testing, Testing in the Pipe, The Reality of Testing in an Artificial World, Beware the Pickle/Prescott's Principle, How Do I Lead an IT Team and Not Go Crazy.

Ana is a QA engineer at Oradian, resident WebdriverIO guru and a lover of all things coffee.

Ivana is a QA Team Leader in Span. Loves traveling, chocolate, music and software bugs (because bugs have feelings too).

✌️ Renato Ćurić (Comsysto Reply): e2e testing with TestCafe and Cucumber.js

TestCafe is a Node.js tool to automate end-to-end web testing. Cucumber.js is a JavaScript implementation of Cucumber and it is used for running automated tests written in plain language. With these 2 tools we can develop automated tests, build reports and while doing that we stay true to the business logic that is written in a plain language. In this short talk, he will show the benefits of using TestCafe as e2e testing framework and also how to implement it together with Cucumber in a CI pipeline within Jenkins.

Renato is a DevOps Engineer at ComSysto Reply d.o.o. In the ongoing customer project he's mainly working with the CI/CD pipeline and writing e2e tests for the customers web site.
