āļø Alan Richardson - EvilTester: Automating Pragmatically
We will have an honor to host a very special guest, Alan Richardson, who is also known under name - EvilTester.
Alan is a consultant, coach and mentor who gives lessons and maintains very popular testing blog https://www.eviltester.com/ and Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/EviltesterVideos
Alan will give a live video lesson especially for attendees of #50 Testival meetup so make sure to be here!
About the lecture:
"The online discussions of automating can leave me confused. Should you automate through the GUI? Should GUI automating be banned? Do all testers need to code? Is automating part of testing or not? Do we need to automate to get a job? In this short session Alan will discuss automating from a pragmatic and contextual position and share how he thinks about automating. We will leave time for questions, and Alan is happy to answer questions on any testing or development related topic."
āļø Ana Å ekerija (Infinum) - Why QA and DA need each other
Since we are living (and testing) in a data driven world, Ana will try to explain why data is so important for QA.
While data can be very helpful in understanding the ways users actually use the app (and where potential dangers may lie), if unreliable, it can lead us to wrong conclusions. Therefore, to avoid creating even bigger mess, QA is important for data analytics too.
How can we make sure we are collecting the data we want? How can we make a use of the data collected (from testerās perspective)? Weāll try to find answers and create a discussion on these two š
ā”ļø Lightning talks (5 minutes each)
Apply at the event.
