Testival Meetup #66

It's time for the first Testival meetup in 2023!

This time the meetup is hosted by RBA who have expressed their desire in supporting the QA and Testing community.

The Testival meetup is a place for testers and QA engineers to share experiences and get to know each other. For each meetup, the location changes as the main idea is to have different IT companies be the host and welcome the testing community into their offices and show them the diversity that is available,

The space we have is limited and there seems to be a lot of interest in attending.
So we are limiting the attendee list to 30. Please only RSVP if you plan on actually going.
(NOTE: By submitting that you are going to attend you are giving permission for the organisers to take pictures of the event for promotional purposes.)

FORMAT

🎤 Introduction (about 10 minutes total)

At the beginning of every meetup, we like to get to know each other better. Prepare to say a sentence or two about yourself.

💻 Regular talks (10-30 minutes each)

☝️ Talk 1: Ivan Horvat (RBA) - Testing A Legacy Application (What google doesn't know)
How to automate a legacy app that is hard to test using the standard approach. We will show an example of our testing process, explain problems and discuss solutions.
Ivan is an IT veteran with 20+ years of experience. Automating everything, from daily tasks for end users to application tests. His motto is how to make life easier.

✌️ Talk 2: Vatroslav Mileusnić (Tabu.hr) - State of QA salaries from TABU data
After saying a few words about TABU and its relevancy, we'll look into what the data says about salaries for the QA position.

Vatroslav is TABU Product Lead who has been promoting salary transparency for over 10 years, ever since he started working.
