West Coast Swing / #ModernSwing Partner Dance 6-Week Beginner Series with National Dancer/Competitor and Expert Functional Movement Specialist, Lacey Powell Fitness and Dance!

Learn the Basics of West Coast Swing with confidence -- Side Passes, Sugar Push, Tucks, Whips, Starter Steps, and Turns! A short practice session will follow the class

β₯ Participants are encouraged [not required] to rotate partners in class (1) to make sure you're LEARNING the dance not compensating with your partner and (2) to meet / dance with new people because this is a SOCIAL dance!

This is a PROGRESSIVE series. Anyone can join at any point in time; however, to feel the ease of this dance, it's best to join in at the beginning or watch the recap videos prior to class. β₯

βΊ Recommended Attire: comfortable shoes that you can easily pivot in on laminate flooring and clothing that you can easily move around in. We don't recommend ballroom or street heels.
