Let's See What's Up White Rock Creek!!

This is the first outing of many I plan to do with my kayaks. I have 4 kayaks (two tandem and two single) so I can supply the kayaks up to a point. This would be a great outing for people that haven't bought their own kayak yet. All of my kayaks are sit-inside kayaks (not sit-on-top).

We will kayak up White Rock Creek. We will cross under NW Hwy, then Lawther, and follow past the DART Railway Trestle and hopefully make it to the Skillmann/Abrams area. The river becomes increasingly narrow as we approach this area. This is the furthest I have paddled.

It is always possible that fallen trees will block the creek making it impossible to pass. So we will depend on luck to guide us on this trip. It is always a challenge to see how far we can go. But it will be a good trip no matter how far we can travel. I will take a kayak up there this week just to see if there are any problems.

They are so much more interesting than the flat water of lakes. Eventually, I would like to go to some of the rivers in Eastern Arkansas. Now that is some beautiful floating!!!
