Dallas Arboreum Outdoor Concert With Kayaks

The Dallas Arboreum is beginning its fall concert series every Thursday, and on 9/18 there will be a Queen cover band playing! Our group can paddle/kayak over to the area on the lake behind the stage where the band is playing. One of our members named Teresa can rent out kayaks to those who don't already have one to bring (more details to follow)

Join us for an evening paddle on White Rock Lake and the Arboretum Thursday night concert of the season featuring Queen tribute band. We will be part of a flotilla of people in kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and sailboats congregating offshore, socializing, listening to the concert while watching the sunset behind the Dallas skyline. This is one of the coolest things you can do in Dallas.
We will be meeting at the Bath House around 5:30-6:00, have a tailgate picnic, then paddle 30 minutes to the Arboretum. After the concert we will paddle back to the Bath House (the best lit area on the lake) after dark.
Don't have a boat?
Rental kayaks, canoes, or SUPs for this event are available from Adventures Unlimited starting at $45 for the event. Reserve HERE
If you have questions about rental call Teresa at 214 478-7856. We have to bring the boats from Fort Worth so please reserve by Wednesday at 5PM so we can have the right boats loaded. Life vests and lights are included with all rentals.
Wear shoes and clothes that can get wet (you WILL have to step in the water), hat sunglasses, sunscreen.
Bring drinks and snacks for on the water. Tailgate dinner (optional)
